You can rest assured in the experience I bring to counselling, having worked 16 years as a qualified Counsellor. In that time privileged to witness people find the support they need, connect to their strengths and inner resources.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling trained at The Psychosynthesis and Education Trust in London 2008, accredited by the BACP and University of East London. As a Cognitive Behavioural Life Coach and trained in mindfulness, our work benefits from these approaches as you need them, enhancing positive mindset, happiness and living more fully present in the moment. |
Trained with Mindfulness UK via the gold standard, Jon Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, mindfulness helps reduce stress and anxiety living more fully in the now.
With a BA Hons in Politics and Sociology prior to counselling, working for many years in empowerment and healthcare for large organisations, this experience continues to inform my counselling today.

Professional Experience
Working in private practice in Burntisland Scotland, I have also worked as a Counsellor in London and Norfolk and internationally online for many years.
In addition to private practice I am an Affiliate Counsellor for the Employee Assistance Programmes VIVUP and Health Hero. I have also worked as a Counsellor for RedArc Nurses, Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, Dover Counselling Centre, Carers Trust, Teens and Toddlers.
Over a career of 30 years, I helped set up Empowerment Networks for Social Services and UK wide charities including Macmillan Cancer Support. Working in policy and development for the public and private sector, I gained a wide understanding of organisational dynamics and stress factors common to the workplace and modern life.
