With a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from The Psychosynthesis and Education Trust London, I qualified in 2008 accredited by the BACP and University of East London. I am a Registered Member of the BACP.

​Based in Burntisland Scotland I've worked as a Counsellor in London, Norfolk and online for many years.  ​Experience as an Employee Assistance Counsellor includes Health Hero,  VIVUP, RedArc Nurses, Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, Dover Counselling Centre, Carers Trust, Teens and Toddlers. ​

Trained in Mindfulness via the gold standard Jon Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, I help clients reduce stress and anxiety and live more fully in the now.

A Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Life Coach, I support my clients in building positive mindset techniques and outlook. 

With a BA Hons Degree in Politics and Sociology this experience helps me recognise the dynamics of societies, their complexities and the impact of this on support needs for individuals. 

Previous Career Experience

 In a career spanning 30 years I've worked in the public and private sectors including health and social care policy supporting individual and group empowerment. 
Working for organisations such as Lambeth Social Services,  Macmillan Cancer Support, Transport for London and The National Audit Office I understand the importance of boundaries, stress reduction techniques and balancing health and happiness.
Having gained a wide understanding of organisational dynamics and stress factors common to the workplace, this experience continues to inform my counselling practice today.
